Founded by 25 year old Erik Bonnevier, born and raised in Luleå, a small city in the north of Sweden where around 70,000 people live. Long winters. Frozen streets. Silence everywhere. It’s the kind of place that teaches you how to live inside your own world.

For me, that world has always been music.

Some of my earliest memories are shaped by sound. Guitar strings echoing through the house, distortion from Marshall amps, backstage at gigs. Music was never just something you listened to, it was something you lived.

A lot of that came from my dad, known to many in the city as "Bonne".

He’s been playing guitar since he was a kid, played in several bands over the years, and spent countless nights on stage performing live. Music was and is a part of his identity, and growing up around that passion left a mark on me from the very beginning. In 2013, he was awarded Luleå’s Blues Person of the Year, and seeing what he had built made me understand early what it means to truly give it your all to something.

That passion became mine. I started playing drums when I was around six years old then I picked up the guitar, piano, bass, list goes on...

Each instrument gave me a new way to feel music, rhythm, melody, space, emotion. I wasn’t just hearing notes; I was feeling how sound could tell a story.

Then in 2016, everything shifted. A friend showed me FL Studio. I still remember that feeling, like a door opening into an entirely new universe. From that moment, I was completely consumed by it. I produced everywhere I could. In school, between classes, late into the night, every spare second I had. Music stopped being something I did and became the way I moved through life.

I even turned my room into a studio, sacrificing having a wide bed at 15 if girls came over to having a bed couch for studio sessions. I built a space where ideas could live and grow. Most days I would walk nearly two miles home across the frozen ice between classes just to get back to my setup and keep creating.

That’s what it felt like. An obsession. A calling. A need to keep chasing the sound in my head. What started in a small room in northern Sweden slowly became something much bigger. Thanks to the internet, the walls of that room disappeared. Suddenly, I was able to create, produce, and mix for people beyond my city, beyond my country, beyond anything I imagined growing up. Around 2018 I met a guy named Jacob from Stockholm and produced and mixed/mastered his whole album which landed us a festival gig at Hudikkalaset 2019

All those things is what’s still inspires me every day. The idea that something created in silence, in the far north, can travel across the world and connect with someone else’s story. For me, producing and mixing is deeply personal. It’s not just about making music sound polished. I would more say it's to build it some character. It's about capturing emotion and sharing it with the world.

Energy, identity, the feeling behind the song. Because every artist has a story they’re trying to tell. Our role with our sound library is to help bring that story to life in the most honest and powerful way possible.

This journey started in Luleå. A small city, a frozen walk home, a room turned into a studio and a love for music that never stopped growing. Now it's time to keep on spreading that to the rest of the world.
